How it works

1

Create an account

Free email signup — your sessions are saved privately and waiting next time you log in.

2

Upload your TrackMan file

Drop in a .csv or .xlsx export. It's parsed in your browser, then saved to your account.

3

Analyze & get coached

Explore the charts, then ask the AI coach (your key) for a tailored practice plan.

🔒 Your AI key, your control

The AI coach uses your own OpenAI or Anthropic API key. It's stored only in your browser and, when you ask for feedback, relayed once through our server to the provider you pick — never logged or saved on our side.

⛳ Golf Shot Analysis

Every practice shot is measured by a TrackMan sensor — speed, distance, height, direction, and where the ball met the club. This page turns shots from practice days into pictures.

Have your own TrackMan export (.csv or .xlsx)? Upload it to see the same analysis on your shots. The file is read inside your browser only — nothing is sent to any server. Once parsed, the session is saved to your account so it's here next time you log in.

🤔 New here? What am I looking at — in plain words

I practice golf at a driving range where a radar (TrackMan) tracks every ball I hit. This dashboard answers three simple questions: How far do my shots go? How straight are they? How cleanly do I hit the ball?

  • Carry — how far the ball flies through the air before landing.
  • Smash factor — how cleanly energy passes from club to ball. Pros hit ~1.40 with a 7-iron; lower means a mis-hit.
  • Fat / thin / topped — hitting the ground before the ball / catching the ball with the club's bottom edge / hitting its top.
  • Toe / heel — striking the far end / near end of the club face instead of the center.
  • Draw / fade — a gentle curve left / right (fine). Hook / slice — too much curve (not fine).
  • Shot score — a simple 0–10 grade per shot: it loses points for flying off-line, for weak contact, and for excessive curve.

Use the Practice day menu (top right) to look at one day at a time, or upload your own TrackMan file to analyze your shots instead.

🎯 What To Work On automatic coaching from this data

The biggest, most fixable problems in the selected shots — ranked by how much they're costing, each with what the numbers show and a drill to try. Plus what's already working, so it doesn't get "fixed" by accident.

🤖 AI Coach your own OpenAI or Anthropic key

Send the numbers from the shots currently selected to an AI model for a personalized review and practice plan. Your API key is stored only in this browser. For each request it's relayed through our server straight to the provider you pick and used once — never logged or saved on our side.

Shot Dispersion where every ball ended up

Bird's-eye view: every shot starts at the bottom center. Higher dot = flew farther; left/right = where it drifted. A tight bunch of dots = a consistent golfer.

Strike Location where the ball met the club face

The center (0,0) is the sweet spot. Each dot is one strike, colored by how clean it was; the white ✛ marks the average. Closer to center = better.

🔍 Shot Inspector click any dot above for a per-shot diagnosis

Click a dot in the Dispersion or Strike charts and this panel explains that exact swing: what went wrong (or right), why the ball did what it did, and what to feel on the next one.

Me vs. the Pros typical value per stat against an ideal 7-iron range

Each row compares my typical number (the dot) with what a tour pro's 7-iron looks like (the green zone). A green dot means I'm in pro territory; a yellow dot means there's work to do. Hover a row for the exact ideal range.

One Stat, All Shots

Pick a stat and see how often my shots produced each value. Tall bars = common values. The green band marks the pro range.

Am I Improving?

The same stat tracked across practice days. Green line = my typical value each day. Yellow dashed line = how much it wobbled that day (lower = steadier).

How Clean Was Contact?

How each ball was struck. Green = clean. "Fat" = ground first, "thin/topped" = bottom edge or top of the ball, "toe/heel" = off-center on the face.

Ball Flight Shape

The shape of each shot's flight. "Controlled draw/fade" = good. Hooks, slices and shanks = the misses every golfer fights.

Biggest Inconsistencies
